About Channel Infrastructure NZ
Channel Infrastructure (formerly Refining NZ) owns and operates the Refinery-to-Auckland Pipeline (RAP) - a ~170 km buried multi-product pipeline that moves jet fuel, petrol and diesel from the Marsden Point fuel-import terminal in Northland to the Wiri terminal in South Auckland. The pipeline also supplies Auckland Airport directly via a spur line.
Channel Infrastructure NZ owns and maintains the reticulated gas pipework that delivers natural gas to homes and businesses in their service area. They manage the pipeline assets - separate from gas retailers, which sell gas to consumers.
