About Nova Energy
Nova Energy is a North Island gas and electricity retailer that owns the Junction Road power station and some related infrastructure. It does not operate the underlying distribution pipework — that's run by GasNet, First Gas and Powerco Gas.
Nova Energy owns and maintains the reticulated gas pipework that delivers natural gas to homes and businesses in their service area. They manage the pipeline assets — separate from gas retailers, which sell gas to consumers.
